Autumn fall leaft lantern activity

This is an easy, low cost activity to do with children of different ages.

  • Leaves
  • PVA glue
  • Brushes
  • Large glass jars
  • Tea lights

Leaf lanterns

  1. Collect the leaves – smaller ones and red ones are particularly good
  2. Dry them gently
  3. Then cover them in glue and stick to the jar
  4. When they are finished leave them to dry
  5. Once dry, careful light and place tea light inside

They really are quite effective and the children loved seeing them glowing outside in the garden.
